The Mean Girls star was allegedly planning to walk down the aisle with the Los Angeles DJ, after Ronson reportedly told party-goers at a recent gig: "By the end of the year, my love will be Mrs Ronson."

The actress was also seen sporting a diamond on her left ring finger, fuelling speculation about impending nuptials.

But a representative for the star tells Access Hollywood, "They (reporters) lie. She bought it (the ring) herself. It's an antique ring that she found at an antiques store in NYC."
