In related news, Marie Claire magazine recently ran a story called “31 Things You Don’t Know about Jessica Simpson,” in which the “Newlyweds” babe confessed her interest in studying religion. After all, her father/manager Joe is a former Baptist minister.

Jess told the mag, “I’ve been contemplating taking a college course in religion. I love religion. I remember whenever the book ‘The Da Vinci Code’ came out, the Discovery Channel did this three-night piece on it that I Tivoed and then watched eight times.”
