Paris Hilton Caught Up in Drug Bust

This was a case of name-dropping gone bad. Some drunk driver tried to pretend he was on his way to pick up Paris Hilton and former friend Brandon Davis (who wasn't even in Australia) in an attempt to get out of a ticket. Fortunately, it didn't work out too well for him.

Mehmet Gulasi, 39, was pulled over by cops in the early hours of New Year's Day in Australia for speeding. When the cops pulled him over he claimed that he was speeding because he was on his way to pick up Paris and Brandon. Obviously the cops didn't buy his story and he was given a breathalyzer test.

He was well over the legal limit and clearly intoxicated. When the cops searched his car they found some cocaine and prescription pills, reports the Sydney Daily Telegraph.

According to the report, the Family of Paris Hilton was targeted by thieves.

Just a few days past, she became the victim of the Thief Attack.
Paris Hilton became totally shocked, when an intruder rushed to way through the front door of her property in Sherman Oaks on Friday [19Dec08], while she was in Party at a nightclub.

The criminal burst into the heiress' bedroom and looted around $2 million worth of irreplaceable gems.

And, on this Monday, her uncle Stephen Michael Hilton also was again allegedly robbed him with physically attacked by a thief, who broke into his Malibu, California home.
And again stole an estimated $2 million worth of goods.

Sporting quite the interesting ensemble, Paris sported a combination that included sweatpants and a motorcycle cap topped off with a Paris Hilton t-shirt and handbag.
